THELMA SINGLETARY HOWELL
God created the Proverbs 31: 10-31, gem in our Mom! She was small in stature, leaving a huge imprint when she walked into your life. Her heart was full of God’s love, which she extended to all.
The husband’s blessed to call her, “My wife”, until the day they went to be with Jesus, had a worthy loving helpmate. Her mission was to fulfill their needs and keep them happy. (So happy, they would dance with her in the kitchen!!!)
The children were showered with love and nurturing, whether her own, theirs, yours, someone else’s and in-laws, too. Especially if they enjoyed fishing, the more the merrier, even a truck load—just don’t out fish her —she’d take away your fishing pole!
Her friends and neighbors knew they could depend on her if they were in need or going through difficult times. Her loving ways flowed from her heart to all.
Every meal was delicious, you felt like royalty sitting down to beautifully decorated tables. From weddings to special occasions you could have your own personal decorator-florist, her talents never ended. Her joy was decorating God’s house. (Be heaven is more beautiful with her there!)
Her love and care will never be forgotten. May we follow in her footsteps! “Mama, Granny, Friend or Thelma”, we thank you for being in our life and loving us ALL. WE LOVE YOU!

Filled with striking beauty.
Thy beauty in similitude a radiant rose,
Her beauty is young,
Her soul a newborn babe,
Skin ever so fair,
Golden hair soft to thy touch,
Lush to thy sight.
Eyes shimmer in the light of my sky.
In the twighlight abyss thy true beauty unfolds.
Slowly a petal falls,
One by one.
Golden hair turned to gray,
The radiance in thy rose fades away.
How time passes by with every falling scale.
My angels are calling thy name.
Thy soul is weary,
Be weary no more but relinquish thy beauty to an everlasting soul
