Samuel Rivera Rodriguez

August 8, 1961 - April 5, 2022

Samuel Rivera also known by many as Sammy was born to Milton and Irma Rivera of Toa Baja, Puerto Rico on August 8, 1961. He was a dedicated husband, father, and brother. He married his best friend, Miriam, on December 19, 1981 in Cayey, Puerto Rico. If he wasn’t fixing cars, he was with his family fishing or cracking jokes. He was fascinated with all things that involved airplanes and loved building miniature models of them.
Sammy was blessed with a large, loving family and helped to raise his children with love, humility and discipline. He taught them to fish, work on cars and how to see the bright side to life.
Sammy was a jokester and a protector with the world’s biggest heart. He always made himself available and would be there for anyone who needed to be heard.
Sammy is survived by his parents Irma and Milton Rivera; his wife Miriam Rivera; his children Denise, Stephannie, Joanne, Samuel and Melissa Rivera; five grandchildren Christian, Leslie, Arianna, Sam, Evie and four siblings Junior Rivera, Leticia Rivera, Myrna Rivera, Rebecca Rivera.
