    ANTHONY WAYNE MORRIS, 62

Anthony Wayne Morris’s life on earth ended on the afternoon of December 27, 2019 at Moffit Cancer Center with his family and friends by his side. Known to all as Tony, his life began and remained in the area of South Lakeland, Florida where he was born on January 19th, 1957 to Robert Wayne Morris and Jeanie Bush Coleman (who passed in November of 2017). Tony will be deeply missed by his loving wife Karen Ashley Morris, daughters Lindsey Lei’Anne Morris, and Lauren Taylor Fuentes, (Henry Fuentes III) and grand=daughter Vivian Leigh. Also saddened by his passing are his step-dad Billy Ray Coleman, and step sons, Cory Albert, David Michael and Eric Thomas Dahlman; his sisters, Mindy Clement (Jason) and Missy Parker and brother in law Robert Kempker (Nancy). (Two other sisters Laurie Morris and Deb Kempker pre-deceased Tony when they were each 26) Missing their Uncle Tony are Shelby Parker, Morgan and Abbey Clement and Josh Kempker. (Jeremy Kempker passed away in April 2012). To know Tony was to love him, and that is evidenced by the countless childhood friends he kept up with and who will miss his wit and smile, he was truly one of a kind. His auto-shop and jeep buddies will surely add – “that’s what she said” – to that statement. Tony had an amazing outlook on life, always positive – always willing to lend a helping hand– always ready with that unique comment to make one laugh and brighten their day and his spirit will surely enrich and live on in the lives for all those who knew him. Please join us for a service and a celebration of his life on January 18th, at the Christina Park Baptist Church, in Lakeland, Florida. Further details and time will be forthcoming.
